I highly recommend any class at Old West Forge. I have taken multiple classes, progressing through his well thought out curriculum. Each building on the previous. Tim is very encouraging in his instruction and takes the time to explain things clearly and interacts with his students to make sure they understand. The content is invaluable, and you leave with the tools both in skills and physical to progress in your development as a blacksmith. I have taken classes elsewhere, but the classes taken here are head and shoulders above. I am always amazed at the difference in my skills before and after have taken a class. What more? The setting is beautiful, the class size is small, the tooling is great, etc. Having said all that, it was just a whole bunch of fun.
